Cardi B and NFL star Stefon Diggs have welcomed their first child together—a baby boy—making the chart-topping rapper a mom of four.
The 33-year-old "Am I the Drama?" artist shared the news in a reel on Instagram, writing to her 163 million followers: "Starting over is never easy but it’s been so worth it! I brought new music and a new album to the world!
"A new baby into my world, and one more reason to be the best version of me, one more reason to love me more than anything else or anyone else so I can continue giving my babies the love and life they deserve."
Newsweek reached out to representatives for Cardi B and Stefon Diggs for comment.
Her representation team told People, "Cardi is healthy and happy."
The baby is Cardi’s fourth child, but her first with Diggs. She shares three other children—Kulture, Wave and Blossom—with her ex-husband, rapper Offset.
Diggs, who plays for the New England Patriots, is already a father to three children, including daughter Nova from a previous relationship. In a recent interview, he revealed at the 2025 CFDA Fashion Awards that he and Cardi are expecting a boy.
"It’s a boy. That’s enough for me," Diggs told People. "I can’t wait to make him do pushups and situps and run around."
The birth of their son also comes against a backdrop of legal drama. Diggs was recently confirmed via a paternity test to be the father of model Aileen Lopera’s daughter, Charliee Harper Diggs-Lopera.
Lord Gisselle, the model’s Instagram name, initially filed papers against Diggs in December 2024 to establish parental rights for their unborn child while she was still pregnant. She sought custody of their child, allowing Diggs visitation.
Diggs responded to the lawsuit, disputing that the baby was his at that time. He asked for genetic testing to confirm if he is the father.
Lopera's attorney, Tamar G. Arminak, confirmed the test results in a statement: "Now that the child’s paternity has been established and Mr. Diggs has acknowledged his daughter, my client hopes they can work toward being great parents to their child," Arminak said.
Despite the confirmation, the legal case is reportedly ongoing if both sides cannot reach their own agreement.
In an episode of "Call Her Daddy," host Alex Cooper asked "Hello" rapper Cardi how she handles people’s opinions on her dating life.
"I really don’t know," Cardi said. "I’m just at the point, like, do what you want to do and do what makes you happy. Like, even in the long marriage I was in…it’s a lot of things that I regret and there’s a lot of people like, see, you wasted your time, but I don’t feel like it was a waste of time. I actually see what comes with being a wife; being a mom."
